When the lights go off
And the dark night wears its dress
Then forget forgetting,
All your Secrets will express.
Your eyes will shut
And you will balance a line
Between sanity and insanity
The evil and divine.
Your experiences both in future and present
Then and now and tomorrow
And with eyes shut you will see
That this is why and this is me.
Why do we dream? Dreams are a connection to the human subconscious. They can range from normal and ordinary to overly surreal and bizarre. Dreams can often at times make a creative thought to the person or give a sense of inspiration. They can be imagery, absurd and unrealistic and they are generally outside the control of the dreamer, with the exception of lucid dreaming (dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming). Dreamers are usually not self-aware in their dreams thus the dreams will seem very real to them while asleep. Dreams can vary from scary, sensual, exciting, surprising, and magical to adventurous. They express what we suppress. They are our tongue of truth.
