When I was a kid I was scared to grow up, I thought grown ups looked strange and it seemed as though they were bored all the time. They all had wrinkles and frowns in their forehead, they seemed to worry about everything and everyone. They were always planning and making decisions. I could not understand it! and it made me wonder why we as humans are supposed to wake up one day and start living our lives in a serious way, stop playing, throw our toys away, move away from home and start building a house, career and future. WHo made up these rules? why can one not play as a grown up and have child like dreams and ambitions? is playfulness not the life source to youth and good health. Is laughing not supposed to be good for you heart?
Male lions gets kicked out of their pride at the age of 2 years, and from there they have to find a new pride to settle down, and i guess in someway a family in the human world works the same way.. one household can only have one king and queen and there is no way anyone should steal their position.. The only fair thing is that we all have to build our own kingdoms at a certain age. But no one said anything about the necessity to build a kingdom without playfulness. I guess what im trying to say is that the only duty we have towards ourselves is not to make six billion dollars a year, but to never forget who we once were, how we spent our free time playing, drawing, dressing up, dancing and creating things. life should not be a boring square, but it should be your personal treasure chest. So if you want to get back to the world of playfulness and you are in Copenhagen, then you should go to Hotel Fox and play the main character in your very own adventure. All the rooms a different and they all have a story to tell.
