My nemo nightmare

Im the kind of girl who loves to live in pact with nature, I like to find my own food and speak the language of animals. But sometimes nature and the natural ways of things becomes too much. You cannot pleas the wine grapes and raw fish at the same time for instance. IM not talking about sushi people, I'm talking about having a raw Herring for Breakfast in Holland after a great night with wine grapes and cheese. Not a great combo.. secondly I the only thing I could think of was that i wanted to take this little onion covered fish to the river, so he would not be a waste for my bad taste. Its a true "NEMO on My plate" nightmare. I love fish, but there is use and there is abuse. If you cannot enjoy it and you are not really hungry, then just take him to the river.

Bend it better then Beckham

If you travel the journey of yoga and you open your mind to natures secrets you will achieve to be able to bend it better then Beckham. And you can say yeah for yoga and  you got served Beckham.!!

Shop till you drop at the SuperMarket

Everybody love going to the supermarket, cause there you can find everything you want, there is something for everybody and all tastes. There is even somethings for the us animals that eat meat, that don't and the once who just like fish. The beach is also a place like the supermarket, a place for everyone. For the beautiful and the "ugly, predators and for prey, skater boys, surfers, snowboarders, doctors, students, old people etc.. But Who needs the beach when you can travel to Holland and go surfing and beaching in a bar called the supermarket:) Pick out your favorite groceries and have a blast at the place that is for everyone.

Same Same but different!

Friends from Africa meets in Thailand in Norway. LAst night the world got smaller, and you realize that this world is just one house where every country is just another room in that house. 3 buddies that I met in the deep bush of Africa half a year ago reunited in A Thailand world restaurant in Oslo yesterday. Yayas is the thai restaurant that gives you a real Thailand experience in the heart of Norway. A thunderstorm hits half way through your meal, and all around there is plastic beach furniture, bush plants and tuctucs. WHy go to Thailand when you can go to Yayas and have a same- same but different journey through an appetizer, a main course and tropical drinks. The climate inside is tropical and I swear i even got a tan.

From a country and a people that has "everything" and maybe too much to a Country and a people that has "nothing". You reach out a hand and when they grab it you realize that they too have everything.. just in a different way, and that we must learn from each other and help each other in the today world of 2011.

OH screw it!

Most of us love to do our hobbies, have alone time, be social, think and reflect and sometimes don't think at all, be active, and sometimes not move at all. Certain days we can't wait with doing all the things we love, but other days we just say: - NO YOU know what screw Yoga or the gym today, I deserve a break, or I totally deserve to have alone time today, i'm not going to be social. But what we don't know is that when we say no to what we love doing because we think we deserve to do what we don't love.. then we are messing with our own head. Relaxation can also be to use your head or body.. SO Lets do ourselves a favor by NOT saying: Screw Yoga, I'll smoke a cigarette.

R we Breakable?

Are we as people breakable? I know that there is a lot of people who live as if they are unbreakable( I do that sometimes and sometimes all the time), and they jump from planes, mountains, cliffs & bridges, they handle wild animals, surf, do gymnastics and all other things that one individual would define as something that they are good at and that makes them feel confident or unbreakable.. The reason why I think some of us get that feeling is because we might not be the strongest physically, but at least we feel strong mentally. And its good to feel that way about yourself, but its also important to break the habit and remember that we are also breakable, and that should tell you something about the way one should interact with others and with the environment. Cause, yes, a lot of us like the word unbreakable, but also remember the words & phrases: Breakable, break down, I need a break, breakfast, break-up and broken bones, this way you want be so disappointed in your life when these breakable things occur. And for the people that feel too breakable, you should remember words/phrases like:unbreakable, take a chance, build up, no break today, hook up & strong bones.

Plastic ain't fantastic!!!

Plastic ain't fantastic people.. you can only use it in so many way before you toss it. But why do we love it so much? We carry plastic bags, we drink from plastic bottles, we get plastic surgery and we sometimes even wear plastic to keep out the rain.. Even though our bodies are also waterproof.. You should reduce the amount of plastic shopping bags cluttering up in your life. They are responsible for causing pollution, killing wildlife, and using up the precious resources of the earth. About a hundred billion plastic bags are used each year in the US alone. And then, when one considers the other parts of the world, the numbers can be staggering. The problem is exacerbated by the developed countries shipping off their plastic waste to developing countries like India. About 100,000 animals such as dolphins, turtles whales, penguins are killed every year due to plastic bags. Many animals ingest plastic bags, mistaking them for food, and therefore die. And worse, the ingested plastic bag remains intact even after the death and decomposition of the animal. Thus, it lies around in the landscape where another victim may ingest it.

So be a friend to the earth that you walk on and the animals you admire, and use canvas or fabric bags, use glass instead of plastic bottles. Cause when something is broken it is usually to late to fix it.

Timo Weiland’s Designers Love a ‘Crunched-Up Blazer,’ Are Strongly Opposed to ‘Anything Sheer’

Timo Weiland’s Designers Love a ‘Crunched-Up Blazer,’ Are Strongly Opposed to ‘Anything Sheer’
Always dare to be inventive. Proud of my buddies

Totally spaced out!!

Have you ever experienced to space out half way through a conversation or a lecture? No, IM not talking about the kind of spaced out that Bob Marley was all his life because of weed, but the kind of drift that takes you on a "inside your head" journey when you are having a conversation with a friend or listening to someone talk.. Suddenly you don't hear the persons voice anymore, because you are somewhere far away mentally from where your physical body is placed. The definition of spacing out is To be or become stupefied or disoriented. But if you look at the word space then that means : The expanse in which the solar system, stars, and galaxies exist; the universe. So how can the mental journey of being spaced out mean that you are stupid and disoriented, when you are actually just entering an interesting travel to the universe.
Dogs space out all day, except for the occasional dog- owner cuddling or walking session. So dude you are not stupid.. you are just paying a spaced out visit to your own universe.

Do you Want a piece of me?

Its funny how we as people always comment on each other on both personality or on looks. People will say like: Funny hat you are wearing or your lips are huge, jeez you are tall or christ you are short.. Sometimes we even comment on people we don't know and we say things like: look at that fat guy over there, or omg she is so skinny, or maaan he ugly, or goodness she is soo hot.
But what we don't know is that what we are really saying by commenting on others is: I wish I had a hat like that or that is was brave enough to wear one, my lips are so small, im so short, or so tall. and when we say that others are fat, ugly or pretty we are usually too obsessed with being skinny and pretty, or if we think people are hot, we are scared that we are not as hot. So with everything you say there is something unsaid. BUt remember the sentence: do you want a piece of me? and what the ant said to the elephant when the elephant said the ant was small: small? me? No, I'm not small, I'm just big enough. Are you bigger then  yourself maybe? I wonder if animals comment on other animals when they pass each other on the savanna?

Its an indian summer people!

An Indian summer is a metrological phenomenon that occurs in the autumn. It refers to a period of considerably above normal temperatures, accompanied by dry and hazy conditions. The indian summer hits when you think that summer is over and you start preparing for fall. It allows us to strip down and be nature nude one last time, and then we can skip through the streets and into the cinema and accept the beauty of fall.

are you a master of survival after dark?

Nanofasa brings you to the savanna city where the animals have put on their best fur, and are ready to consume all of life's biggest addictions and pleasures. Some are small, some are tall, some like to hide and some are never shy, some stalks and kills, some drink for trills. Some live to survive, some live to die. Some get lazy in the heat, some keep on running to the beat, some vocalize to express all the things they are and want to say, and some just feel like shit the next day. So who can master the Savanna city after dark? It is only the predators that sees that the everyday life carries a greater spark.

Don't do it!!!! Do it!!

Don't  visit and support Zoo's. Most of the Captive animals end up looking like this. They die of kidney failure due to overweight, they start behaving strange and stop behaving like lions, but more like animals in pain.
Do support and conserve the wild lions! then you help sustain the few lion families that are left. Cause at the end of the day you want the lions to be as they are in nature, where lions looking healthy like this, you don't want lion king to be an obese lion with kidney failure!!!

Lets join hands across boarders!

It is time we join hands across boarders! THE HORN of Africa is suffering from its worst drought in 60 years, and food shortages are affecting as many as 12million people across the region. The United Nations has declared that two regions are suffering from famine conditions, with child malnutrition rates of up to 55 percent and infant deaths of six a day. An estimated 2.8million people in southern Somalia are facing starvation, and 3.7million in the country overall — or half the population. The outside world has been slow to address this crisis. Early warnings of a famine began last November, but the U.N. declaration did not come until late in July. We must act now as the privileged people of a western world that we are. We who have everything must give to the people that have nothing, we must reach out a hand, and let the western and african hand join - as we are one in the world of Tellus. Collect money where you can and donate to the organization closest to you.

Last summer Tip!

For all of those who is noticing that the summer is slowly turning into fall, and that the sun is changing place with rain heavy clouds, I have the perfect last summer tip for you! If the sun is up, you need to migrate to the water, and regardless of temperature you have to jump in, you have to strip down to your bikini one last time, this might be the last chance for you to be a sea mammal this year. So jump in a test your fins one last time, and feel what is like to convert from water to land, let the mermaid or man feel the sand under your feet and walk away from the water into the fall. And if you are in Norway you have to visit Villa Malla. Villa Malla is not a restaurant, but an ORGANIC open space for the public. All guests are equally welcome, hungry or not, and there is no obligation to dine while visiting. BUt you should, cause the food is absolutely amazing.

Snow white got served.

WHo said snow white is the only one could talk to animals? we are all a part of the same nature, we can communicate with animals.. it's just a matter of allowing yourself to stop pretending and to be your self whilst walking in nature, and the animals will pass you and stop for a quick chat. They might not say much vocally, but they are amazing listeners.
So instead of talking to people that do not care, talk to the furry once.

Don't be a trash can, Eat natural!!

In our modern part of world today we have forgotten what is our natural origin. We don't know how to track, catch or find our own food, cause for us its easier to drive down to the supermarket and pick something thats already prepared with a lasting date of 5 years. But my question is, if something can last 5 years then what on earth have they put into that food. Im not saying that you should get your bow and arrow out and start hunting, but i'm suggesting that you eat things as they are.. Fresh without all the artificial preservatives. Lets face it.. fresh cheese is much better then cheese from a can. Lets live as a part of nature, not disconnected and apart from it. Don't be a trash can, eat natural. Come on.. Lets taste our surroundings.

Have you met the hungry hyenas?

You have probably seen them in action or heard them laughing and howling, you have maybe seen them during a hunt or whilst feeding of their prey. Sometimes we also see them picking up leftovers. Maybe you know one? Or maybe you are one of them? IM not talking about the hyeneas we see on the discovery channel, but the hyenas that lives, walks and parties amoung us.  I think we all have little bit of hyena in us actually. We laugh for no reason, we howl when we want attention, we chase the people we look up to, we eat everything that is fed to us of truth-lies and funny stories, we pick up  leftovers  like swetty shirts and used objects that celebrities throw out  in the audience. We listen to gossip and sceam together, we protect eachother, we hunt and eat together. We  feel strong when we are many against the few, and we run away when we are few against many. And we easily follow an alpha leader. Maybe its just a human thing to be a hyena.

How to bring out the lion within.

I always feel like an animal, and today i did a shoot where I could unleash my non-human side. Do you feel like an animals sometimes? Here you can see how to transform yourself from human to lion in a matter of seconds. Bring out your blowdryer and release your inner predator.

Peace and love ending to Oslo Fashion week

One of the last shows of Oslo Fashion week was a spectacular one. Line of Oslo presented her Peace and Love collection with the strong message: Love makes me high! Line Warner is the brain behind the casual and comfortable designer brand and she is a true friend of nature, this woman has really understood what our universe is about, and it is an inspiration to see how she expresses this through her clothing. Let yourself  be inspired too, and make sure that you drop beats and not bombs, make love not war, save animals with fur and don't wear fur. In the true words of Line Warners T-shirt:  Be a friend!

Tip of the day from your food prep mama

If you are trying to capture an animal ( to put on a GPS collar for monitoring purposes) you should use a box-trap. The bait should be placed in the way back of the box trap, attached to a wire to make sure the animal you are aiming to catch will move all the way into the box without being able to pull out the bait.
But never crawl into the box-trap yourself, cause then you might be the catch of the day. And kids don't try this at home!!!

I know people sometimes say: - I feel like I'm trapped in a box, but once you've actually been trapped in a box. the feeling is quite different. You feel more like a dumb-ass then a prisoner.

the winner of the Moods of Norway is.......

All models entered the runway from actual stables, and walked the pony round catwalk. Many horses(models) fell down whilst racing around the trotting field for Moods of Norway and High heals was properly not the best racing shoe choice for the trotting ground. But regardless of all the tumbling horses, it was a fantastic show with one surprise lined up after an other. These are guys that have taken their love for norwegian culture to the next step, and fashionable step.
