Once upon a time, there was a little girl who lived in a village near the forest. Whenever she went out, the little girl wore a red riding cloak, so everyone in the village called her Little Red Riding Hood.
Now. here is a pink elephant for you. Everyone reads and tells this story to kids all over the world, and all grownups know what it is really about..but they are too scared to discuss the topic straight forward with their kids. The elephant is just to pink to mention and they decide to do a famous little something called sugarcoating. Charles Perrault was the one who wrote the original version and this was his message: - From this story one learns that children, especially young lasses, pretty, courteous and well-bred, do very wrong to listen to strangers, And it is not an unheard thing if the Wolf is thereby provided with his dinner. I say Wolf, for all wolves are not of the same sort; there is one kind with an amenable disposition – neither noisy, nor hateful, nor angry, but tame, obliging and gentle, following the young maids in the streets, even into their homes. Alas! Who does not know that these gentle wolves are of all such creatures the most dangerous! so that is the real message behind little red riding hood, so stop sugarcoating and start communicating.
