In the MOODS for a horserace!
I have earlier described that as a model before a fashion show I sometimes feel as if I'm about to enter a horse trotting race where the winner will take it all and the loser will end in a fall.
And today is the day where models in Norway including myself are actually going to enter a horserace runway show for Moods Of Norway at the horserace area of Øvrevoll. We will be saddled, shoed and groomed and then.... Ready- set- catwalk. Stay tuned for pictures from the fashionable Moods of Norway Horse.. no.. i mean model.. runway show.
WAKE UP!!!
When the lights go off
And the dark night wears its dress
Then forget forgetting,
All your Secrets will express.
Your eyes will shut
And you will balance a line
Between sanity and insanity
The evil and divine.
Your experiences both in future and present
Then and now and tomorrow
And with eyes shut you will see
That this is why and this is me.

A MUST SEE!!!!!
Four Shades of Brown is the most delightful movie ever created and is an absolute "must see" film. The movie is a 2004 Swedish film written by the comedy group Tomas Alfredson & Killinggänget.
The film consists of four interweaved stories about life tragedies, with settlements related to fatherhood as the common theme. Although story-wise completely unconnected, it is a movie about how we fail in mastering our lives, and how we so blindly overlook the obvious support that is always present behind every challenge. Seek out this universe of brown if you want to discover real joy, inspiration and reflection. It is a universe I enjoy at least, it is a place of constant surprise.
Get back to the 60's- Oslo fashion week
http://www.oslofashionweek.com/visuals/photo/hair-and-makeup-trends-2012/?pid=1646
Yesterday Oslo fashion week displayed the hair trends for s/s2012, and it turns out there is a hairstyle for every type. If you want big hair ( big enough house a yoga mat), slick hair for the elegant and strict, a boyish- look like- your boyfriend cut or an elvish look, then you should go nuts in 2012. Make sure however that your inside is matching your outside. let you personality decide.!!All you ducks in a row?
Sneak a peek from the backstage area of Oslo fashion week, where you will find that they have all their ducks.. no.. Sorry models in a row. This is where the magic happens, and where a 15 year old can look 25 in matter of minutes, where short hair can grow long, where blondes can turn brunettes, and where the "ugly" ducklings turns into swans. It is the perfect example of how one person does not exist without the other, and how we all play an important role in both the circle of life and the circle of fashion. It is the unnoticeable workers that makes people notice, it is the small work that lays the fundament for the big things, there is a creative brain, a crafter, a fitter and a lanky girl who gives life to dead things. It's the perfect Eco-balance.. because there is heavy competition!!! (hyena howl)

Thai Salvation for aches and pain.

The people of our world today have proven to love a good groom and massage, as much as baboons like to be groomed and pinch each other. We like to be taken care of, and to take care of others, we like to feel relaxed, clean and everything that gives us a feeling of being refreshed. All my life I have been searching for the ultimate massage experience, where people are not just petting your back, and you lay there feeling like a tense cat of some sort. And I finally found it in the small town of Asker in Norway. At Laura's thai massage you will first receive a cup of tea, then some resistance and challenge, and in the end they have managed to accomplish to make you muscles softer. I recommend everyone who can to seek out this place. A place that gives support and challenge, a place where you can get a real massage. Namaste http://www.laurahomespa.com/contents/
The oslo fashion week migration begins
Every 6 months the entire fashion industry in Norway migrates into the capital to gather around the fresh meat of the marked (new collections). IN the migration you will find the tall and skinny, the short and colorful, the ice-queens, the playful, the silent and the dominant.. Some of them arrive in prides, some arrive in packs and some arrive in solitude. But what all the fashion predators have in common is the hunger for the new and trendy. I will also participate this week as a giraffe walking down the catwalk. But im walking for Africa and the project where I work with different kind of animals and the people from all walks of life. One migration route like the one in Oslo Fashion week, can help sustain another one. This is what makes our world today so divine.

Respect the balance!

Finding the balance is key to walking, living and surviving. And we strive to accomplish balance to avoid falling down.
When I did my first couture fashion show in Paris, I remember that I was super scared of falling down in the middle of the runway in front of all the people watching. Because i believed that if I would fall then that would be the end of everything ( career, reputation, self-respect). Everyone backstage were also scared that one of the models would trip and fall and they kept reminding us several times before the show that is was very important that we did not fall in this million dollar clothing we were wearing.. It did not exactly help our nerves, and I think we all felt that we were about to enter a horse trotting race where the winner would take it all and the loser would end in a fall. I think keeping balance in so important for us people that we even envy cats sometimes, because they always land on all four. But
if we fall we also know that we can stand back up again, so what are we so afraid of? What goes up will always come down, and then raise again and fall again. This is our balance and its always present. So don't be afraid of falling, cause when you fall, you grow.
