The Contrast thought
We what we think and live, is sometimes black and sometimes white, sometimes salty sometimes sweet.
We like to mix and match, hunt and catch, we want everything new, but old.
A contrast. With fashion, art and music we get inspired by far away land and cultures. What they fight to have to survive, we fight to have in six different colors. WHen someone with no money gets a pair of shoes, he will wear them and care for them until his toes goes through the soles
When we buy a new pair of shoes we want them to look like the toes are about to go through the soles, and we want them with the name of someone else stitched on the inside. So what is this contrast really?
We from the modern world always look at ourselves as the part of humanity that has figured so many things out, and who are constantly in development. It's actually maybe not completely true?! its a two way around in many ways..When we make new to evolve, we get inspiration from old, when we sell unused, we make it looked used. This part of the world that we always want to help and that we always feel bad for, is actually helping us everyday, they inspire our culture and makes it less grey.. So it is not a matter of us helping them, it is a matter of exchanging knowledge my friend.

human big cat diary
Get ready for the big human cat diary

and meet the two legged creature,

Rescue me!
Aretha Franklin screams
Rescue me
Oh take me in your arms
Rescue me
I want your tender charms
'Coz I'm lonely and I'm blue
I need you and your love too
Oh take me in your arms
Rescue me
I want your tender charms
'Coz I'm lonely and I'm blue
I need you and your love too
But if Aretha Franklin would stop and listen,
she would maybe hear and see
that being lonely is just another form of TO BE
being blue is just another color choice
that will give you the solitude to hear your own voice
so don't always look for
the easy way out
If you can choose the long over the short
there should be no doubt.
Yes
it can be hard
yes
you will be challenged
and yes
you will have water over your head,
but you can still swim and hold you breath
no reason to fear death.
So next time you scream Rescue me!!
And someone tosses
a life saving buoy
Swim away from it and shout
Swim away from it and shout
I choose life A'HOY

Hakunamata for real
Society always tells you that what you see in a movie is not real, and that talking animals and flying objects is not a big deal. They tell you that a warthog and a meerkat cannot be friends, they tell you that animals with sharp teeth should stay behind the fence.
They tell you that everything you believe is make- belief, they tell you that growing up is a proper relief.
society commands, points and shoots
But if you want to know who you are,
you kick them back with a boot.
welcome to the boat town
Have you heard the tale or talk of the people of the boats?
Heard their experiences on that something that floats.
Have you asked them where they have travelled
Or what they have smelled or seen?
Or have you asked them
About their king or their queen.
Boat people are refugees,
Running running knees.
Heard their experiences on that something that floats.

elevator talk
How well can you control your voice machine, not you telephone's voice machine but you body's voice machine. Can it handle the pace of talking fast or slow, laud or low. We as people want to be remembered for something, either for who we are or what we do or believe in. So if you had 30 seconds to two minutes to say what you want to say and accomplish something, then what would you say and how would you say it.?? The elevator talk technique is the most advisable if you want to express several points to your story. An elevator talk is a short summary used to quickly and simply define a product, service, or organization and its value proposition. The name "elevator talk" reflects the idea that it should be possible to deliver the summary in the time span of an elevator ride, or approximately 30 seconds to two minutes. so practice your elevator talk and be remembered. you have maximum 2 minutes to say what means the world to you. What is it?

most fearless in the world?
We as people are always to proud to admit what we are scared of, even though its usually is a lot of things that makes us piss our pants, and that we fear more then anything. SOme people are scared of heights, of dying, of water etc, but some people are scared of other living things. Some are scared of dogs, mice, spiders or snakes. So if you fear an animal you are most likely to have abilities of an other animals e.g If you fear mice, you are an elephant ( you fear things that you can't see coming, and that sneaks up on you) if you are scared of spiders you carry abilities of a bug ( maybe your are scared of someone that you feel is bigger or better then yourself). So how do we conquer our fear and become as fearless as the Honey badger, well I think you should just try to own the abilities of your "enemies", and when you see that you sometimes can be sneaky as mouse or venomous like a snake, or loud like a dog then you will see that the enemies you feared are also apart of you
get back to your roots
Some times i think is important that you stop for a second and think about who
you are and were you come from. Get back to you roots and figure out how your tree
of life started growing.
The rare tree of life is the Baobab tree, you find the Baobab trees everywhere in namibia and other places in the southern part of Africa.
Other common names include boab, boaboa, bottle tree, the tree of life, upside-down tree, and monkey bread tree. The species reach heights of 5 to 30 metres (16 to 98 ft) and trunk diameters of 7 to 11 metres (23 to 36 ft). It's trunk can hold up to 120,000 litres of water. When we were in BUshmanland we were 17 people trying to reach around and it was not possible.
The Baobab Tree is also known as the tree of life, with good reason too. It is capable of providing shelter, food and water for the animal and human inhabitants of the African Savannah regions. The cork-like bark is fire resistant and is used for cloth and rope. The leaves are used for condiments and medicines. The fruit, called "monkey bread", is rich in vitamin C and is eaten. The tree is capable of storing hundreds of litres of water, which is tapped in dry periods. Mature trees are frequently hollow, providing living space for numerous animals and we know a tree in Bushmanland that is more then 6000 years old.
The Bushmen believed that goings-on in the baobab so offended God that in his wrath he uprooted it and cast it back into the earth upside-down.
It is said that if you drink its delectable sap you’ll receive protection from the crafty crocodile; but don’t pluck its flowers, for whosoever does so will be torn apart by lions!
It is also claimed that on the day of creation, each animal was given a tree to plant and that the hyena planted the baobab upside-down and, as a result, it should never have grown. But grow it did, and today baobabs dot the African landscape as the biggest trees.

Where did the all the men go!
Let men be men I say,
but thats not what I saw
Yesterday!
I was walking through the city looking at the store windows,
And I suddenly saw something. Was is a man doll? or a female doll? or was it just a man doll wearing a bikini. And yes the last answer was the correct answer. A man in a bikini.
Its pretty incredible how we always looked at man and women as two different things, but the ironic thing is that the woman has always tried to be more man-like and the man always has tried to be more woman-like. Cause if we don't, then we will not understand each other. We would not be able to communicate. But Nowadays we have started to be more open about wanting to be a little bit of both. want to flow into each other. Girls wants to wear the pants of their boyfriend, and boys want to wear the smooth skin moisturizer from his girlfriend. Women wants the jobs and rationality of men, and men wants the creativity and empathy that women have. But it makes sense though: WO MAN,
No WO- MAN no cry bob marly preached and sang
There is not a Ying without a Yang
It is the combination of the two that is me- you-and you.
So be a man or a woman
you decide what you do.

Hang on!
Days can pass
Slow when we are small
Fast
when we are grown and tall.
a glimpse
a movement
a meeting
an education
a relationship
many relationShits
Conversations, strangers, family and travels
And this is how our life unravels
to the speed of light
Day becomes night.
Believe in who you are
And hang on tight.

Why we are tired!
A sharp noise
Cuts through the air to wake you up.
body is asleep
mind is awake
You tell yourself THIS IS A MISTAKE.
Laying still is safe and sound
away from all worries and societies pound
Must sleep
must lay down
Must not wake up
Must not fall down.
why do you choose the moon over the sun.
You dream happy and live sad
So would you rather sleep? is that bad?
you alarm clock rings
it is dawn.
And so I ask you not to snooze or stun,
Cause its only the day starting you off
with greetings from the sun.

What can you see?
In the open spaces
A dry ocean
A desert
A world of nothing,
but the potential of everything
What do you see?
Just a sandy endlessness?
or perhaps eternity?
When i touch your face
and kiss your cheek
Is it something
That is yours to keep?
If i slap your neck because you've been bad
Will you then scream:
Take it, its yours.
i do not like being sad.
But who are we if we are not?
who we are?
i think about it a lot
you walk with and against
you run and you pace
But what I am lies all in the light of my face,
The rest is silent for now,
until you make the next sound
until you stand there with a gaze,
but
Until then we are a young human race.

He has a memory like an elephant
Its is often said that some people have a memory like an elephant and that others have a memory of a goldfish. I used to think that my memory was pretty good, but I was put to shame when i saw this..!!! its is an absolute must see.. the smartest guy who lived, and possibly a better memory then an elephant.

harold Pinter- Moonlight Play
Again I feel like taking on the old play writers , but this time its not Ibsen but its Harold Pinter and his Moonlight play. The scene i'm doing is about A distressed daughter confronting herself with a story of how one waits for death after she was confronted by her mother about her father who is dying
Why we are vain?
We as people focus a lot on our looks and appearance, its has grown to be a big part of society as well as for the personal individual. We want to look nice, clean, smell good, have a smooth skin, soft hair, a nice body and have spot and wrinkle free clothes.. We want to look like someone else most of the time, and we try to fix ourselves into what we think is the better. But with this gigantic focus on the exterior outside of ourselves, we completely forget who is living on the inside. We start to despise the vessel that carries around who we are, we only compare ourselves to others and a fiction "reality". But don't you think that the reasons we have flaws on the outside is because we should learn to look more on the inside.? DO you ever see or hear animals iron their fur, complain about their hair and that they wished it was more curly or straight? Does hippos and elephants struggle with their size and weight? or the giraffe feeling like its too tall? if you close your eyes, then what do you see?
i think we both know its something greater then what you made the outside to be. so do like the animals and DO NOT PRETEND. It is not your outside but your inside that needs a friend.

Telling stories across boarders
http://issuu.com/uitgeverij_watervis/docs/niet_helemaal_alleen
Once upon a time and through all times people have been telling each other stories. Stories about life, love, dreams, ancestors, family history, culture, hunting, wars, God, ghosts, aliens and YOU NAME IT. It is important to tell stories, cause it is through the stories that we learn about who we are and how we can learn from others. My mum is a story teller and she has been telling be stories and writing children's book for a long time. Now her books are crossing boarders and her stories are reaching more story receivers. In one and a half week we are going to Africa where my mum will continue to tell her stories to the local children, and she will listen to their stories. Is it not great when our stories can reach across boarders. Is this maybe the way we can understand each other and live happily ever after? THE END

Why the cheetah cries!
Have you ever heard the myth story of why the cheetahs have black tear marks running down their face?
A very long time ago, where the earth was first created, all the animals came down onto the savanna. The animals, birds, insects were all different shapes and different colors. When the cheetah first came to the earth, just like all other animals, it shook its body and stretched its legs, and took a deep breath of the new clean air. The cheetah thought if felt very good to be alive. Each animal had to get used to its own body, so the cheetah started running and found out it could run very very fast.
The cheetah ran and ran across the vast plains of the world. After a time of wondering the plains alone, the cheetah became lonely, and decided to look for friends of its own kind. She asked several animals like wild dogs and lions if they were the same as the cheetah, but the chased her off.
The cheetah raced away very fast because she was scared. After running a safe distance from the dogs and lions the cheetah laid down to rest under a big camel thorn tree. She felt sad. She thought about how the lion roared and did not want her, and how the wild dogs yelped and bit at her feet, and she felt sadder and sadder. The cheetah felt so sad that started to cry. She was very lonely.
The cheetah did not realize that any other animals were near her. A giraffe had walked up quietly while the cheetah was crying. The giraffe, looking down at the cheetah with its big brown eyes, asked, "Why are you crying?" The cheetah was very surprised when the giraffe spoke. The cheetah looked up tearfully at the giraffe and proceeded to tell her sad story about the lions roaring and telling her she was not a cat, and the wild dogs chasing her and saying she was not a dog.
Sniffling, the cheetah said, "I have been sitting here crying, and I have cried so long and so hard. Look at my beautiful face, the tears have burnt marks in my face."
A bird, which was flying by the camel thorn tree, saw the beautiful cheetah and chirped, "I have traveled throughout this land. And you, cheetah, are the most splendid and unique of all the cats I have seen."
The headman concluded his story and said, "The cheetah has had spots ever since that lonely day. And it chirps like a bird to show how proud it is of being the most unique of all cats."
